The Blackhawk Golden "K" Kiwanis Club thanks the Janesville and surrounding communities for the strong support for this year's Truck On Ice Fund Raiser. This year's success was made possible by wonderful people who purchased guesses, Janesville Gazette and WCLO who provided publicity, Davis Citgo, and the great team of sponsors who makes this project possible.
We thank you all.
Our contest proceeds stay in the community and allows the club to provide scholarships for the students at local area high schools and Blackhawk Technical College. We also fund activities for the Boy's and Girl's Club,
the Boy and Girl Scouts, Craig and Parker Closets and Homeless students.
On March 8 2023, a drawing determined the winners because there was not enough ice to safely park the truck on Traxler Pond. This is the fourth time in the 20 year history of the contest a drawing was needed to determine winners in the contest.
In the drawing, a unique ticket is generated for each of the guesses purchased throughout this year's campaign, giving everyone's guesses
an equal chance for one of the 15 prizes.
